The apartment

Our spacious apartment – or gîte – offers a double and a single bedroom, as well as a large studio living room and kitchen. With beautiful views at front and back, it makes an ideal romantic retreat for two, or a comfortable apartment for three friends or a small family group. The apartment can host up to 3 people (one double bedroom with a 1,60 x 2 meter bed, and a single bedroom with a 90 cm x 2 meter bed).

With a flexible booking model we're open to short-term and longer term rents, depending on the availability. Please note that the minimum stay is 2 nights/ 4 nights during official holidays and please remember to bring your own sheets and towels.

The living room provides space to relax, chat, work, read, study, play... with wifi, writing desk, radio and hifi. It is furnished with a dining area, as well as a sofa & comfortable chairs. It looks out on the field and hedgerow at front of the house.

There is a well-equipped kitchen with a modern cooking hob, microwave/grill combi-oven, fridge-freezer, coffee & tea makers, pots & pans...

The main bedroom boasts a generous double bed (1,60 x 2 meter, organic futon with the possiblity of adding a mattress topper made of organic latex) in a restful, rustic atmosphere. It is decorated and furnished sustainably, from the eco paint to the organic futon. The view of the garden, fields and forest is as green as it gets.

The second bedroom is a cosy single room with a 90 cm x 2 meter futon. It is decorated and furnished to the same high ecological standards as the rest of the apartment, and enjoys the same unsullied view of green (albeit at knee height...).

Extra mattresses, pillows and blankets are available.

The wild permaculture garden of half a hectare is just one flight of stairs away. You are welcome to spend time here - for example on our "herb garden" terrace furnished with chairs, tables and a sunshade, or dozing in a hammock. Please just keep to paths and respect the vegetable beds and natural areas. We are also happy to give you a tour of our garden.
