We love cooking – and eating – and we’d like to share this passion with you: We can provide you with breakfast, dinner and little snacks while you’re staying with us. You can also cook together with us (something we dub “social cooking”, as it is all about the pleasure of cooking together – and learning a few new recipes on the side). Our cooking style is rather eclectic and free-style, and has touches of Asian, French, British, German and of course Belgian cuisine. We love spices, herbs and vegetables, but our menu also includes high-quality meat and fish. Vegetarian, vegan or adaptations to allergies (e.g. gluten or dairy-free) are also possible – let us know what your requirements are. Our food is fresh, mostly organic and home-made, partially made from home-grown fruits, herbs and vegetables growing in our permaculture garden (link to https://prangeleu.be/the-garden/) , partially sourced from local organic farmers and shops. Our permaculture garden has started in 2017 – and the aim is to reach self-sufficiency (including that of our guests!) as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, we rely on the excellent regional food supplies: The region boast a large number of artisanal and organic producers (link to https://prangeleu.be/the-region/inspiring-projects). As well as traditional and organic farms, there are excellent bakers, butchers, dairies and jam-makers – not to forget the chocolate and beer makers! The area is also well known for its beekeepers who make some of the best honey in the country. As the Jardin de Prangeleu (link to https://prangeleu.be/the-garden/) develops and the range of our own produce increases, we will of course include our own conserves, bread, honey and eggs in the breakfast. Whether it’s home-produced or the fruits of the wider region, you are sure to enjoy good food in our B&B. And if you’d like to venture out we can give you recommendations for good restaurants closeby (link to https://prangeleu.be/the-region/food-links) – there are quite a few, as it is not only us who like food here!
